Bin Size Tests

From my research I worked out that 14.8L will be enough space for both the food scraps and brown material for 4 people for 1 week. From here I worked out 5 different box sizes that fit within a standard bench size. The water bottle is to give an idea of scale. All dimensions are done by width, length and height.

28cm x 30cm x 18cm = 15120cm3

21cm x 40cm x 18cm = 15120cm3

15cm x 55cm x 18cm = 14850cm3

14cm x 60cm x 18cm = 15120cm3

It is obvious that boxes 2 and 3 and the most ideal ones to use for the bench as they are not so long as to be ridiculous but also not square. I would like the see what they look like with a taper as that shape aspect alone will make the bins look less like basic boxes
